Najhee will be presenting a summary of his work that he completed over the past year and a half working in the Gumperz lab. He will be graduating next weekend and attending The Ohio State University for medical school next fall! We wish him luck!
Kelsey will present an update on her research showing images from previous mouse experiments.
Akshat will be returning to the lab to give a presentation on COVID-19 in January. Akshat was a former PhD student in the lab and we are happy to have him back and giving a presentation on his current work focused on COVID-19.
We would like to congratulate Najhee for winning the Biochemistry Department Undergraduate Summer Research Award. Najhee’s work will focus on exploring the mechanisms in which γδ T cells are able to exert their effector functions on target cells.
Congratulations to our PI Jenny Gumperz and our Associate Scientist Dana Baiu on winning the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s 2020 Innovation Award.
