Niha Patankar

I graduated from UW-Madison in 2025 with a B.S. in Biochemistry, Music Performance (Voice), and Political Science. I joined the Gumperz Lab in 2021 where my project has focused on the metabolism of invariant Natural Killer T-Cells and their ability to produce an anti-tumor response in nutrient-deprived environments. As an undergraduate, my research awarded me the opportunity to write a Senior Honors Thesis, as well as receive the Sophomore Research Fellowship (2022), the Hilldale Research Fellowship (2023), and the Biochemistry Summer Research Award (2023).
